Book Sharing
Book sharing is a fun activity that can get everyone involved.  The way it works is a student finds a book to read aloud to the class.  The book should be chosen based on being appropriate for the reader and audience.  The reader should also be graded on reading with accuracy, enthusiasm, and clarity (but should be told so ahead of time).  After the story is finished, the reader can follow the CROWD method.  Example of how to use the CROWD method are below.
C - Completion questions
R - Recall questions
O - Open-ended questions
W - "Wh" questions
D - Distancing questions
Ex. Fill in the word
Ex. Do you remember....
Ex. What is happening....
Ex. What is a .......
Ex. Have you ever.....
